"The greatest gift that you can give to others is the gift of unconditional love and acceptance." This quote was by Brian Tracy, I picked this quote because I feel like it has a meaningful message. In life love and acceptance are two things that are so important, probably to everyone in some type of way. Being loved by family, friends and even your pets give you such a bigger purpose for your life, they definitely can be the ones to keep you going during rough times of your life, and even the good times it's always nice just to feel inspired with the positive impact others can have on you. Acceptance is so important and I definitely think feeling accepted will help you get further in life, this gives an extra boost of confidence at the times you need it. Being accepted can give you that extra boost of support also, some people may not believe in something they want to do because of the lack of acceptance they have with what they want to do, but with that acceptance I think it really gives a good boost. Love and acceptance will definitely make some type of impact whether you realize it or not.
John Maxwell said 'Success can be very subjective." This is very true and something to think about, success can be different for each individual. It can also vary on different events on why it was successful. I like how he says "Success is knowing my purpose in life" that is so important. If you want to be successful the main person who has to believe in you is you, personally I know I push myself harder than others push me and it definitely makes me have to work harder for myself. When knowing your purpose that is what helps you to find success. To have confidence in yourself and knowing your self worth makes it so much easier for you to succeed. Personally, I feel like I succeed at different levels, however I don't always give myself credit. Something I should definitely work on is being able to have the confidence to help me further succeed.
Stress can be helped in a variety of ways, some need more help than others and some just don't try for help. A big thing I think will make an impact on helping with stress would be keeping a stress journal. Keeping a stress journal would definitely help me to see what is pointless stress or what I should find techniques to help relive stress first. I think this will especially help once I start college this way I can keep track of all my classes and what I have to get done. Another thing that might help is seeking help, when I say this I mean maybe if I'm having a tough time in a class instead of stressing about maybe I can ask for extra help. These two things are just a start that will definitely help me eliminate at least a good portion of stress. Through another article I read I found out that keeping a stress journal can eliminate anxiety and depression. Keeping a stress journal just helps you overall stay focused, and help you let out negative emotion. It is said that some prefer pen and pencil however if you prefer typing there are sights they offer for free. These sights keep all your information private and you can add journals whenever you want.
http://www.everydayhealth.com/longevity/journal-for-stress-relief.aspx Confidence, it is always a good thing to have some type of confidence whether it's in what you do or how you feel about yourself. There's definitely a limit when it comes to being confident and over confident. But, having a decent amount of confidence where you like yourself for who you are is definitely a great thing. Friendship is definitely important, whether it is with your friends or your family. Friendship is what keeps you going, and the friends you have our supposed to be the ones to push you the most, Loyalty, this can be with anyone or anything really. Being loyal is such a great characteristic to have. This truly helps you live a better life. The three above words are all important for many reasons and I believe they can make a big difference on the type of person you are.
It's pretty clear that everyone has bad days, but that doesn't define who you are as a person, even more so if you don't let it. When I think of what Jim Rohn said "you either run the day or the day runs you" I think of when you're having a bad day you can't let it make you that type of person. If you're having a bad day just realize that a part of if you feel better the next day, or even later that day is partially up to you and how you decide to handle it, You can have a bad day and pout about it or you can have a bad day and try to think of ways to improve it or how you will make tomorrow better. Sometimes this is easier said than done or sometimes it may feel impossible to do, but how your life goes is definitely largely impacted on what you're making out of each of your choices and mistakes.
